Excellent location. Positive: This was a great location, half a mile to Chester. The parking space was an added bonus. Lovely and clean and warm. Quiet location. Comfortable bed and sofa (used as a bed). We had a problem with the tv system (sorted after a number of phone messages), we advise you check the sky box is plugged in. Plenty of hot water. Good kitchen facilities, plenty of crockery, glasses, pots, pans and appliances Great pubs nearby, we used The Ship Inn, recommended. Negative: As commented before, a blind on the bathroom window would have added to the privacy. Some knowledge of how the heating system works would be helpful to guests.

Positive: Really lovely cottage, very comfortable for 2 people. Good location, will definitely stay again Negative: Breakfast wasn't as shown on the pics, but only very minor point

It made us want to come back again! Positive: We liked the 'cuteness' and cosiness of the property and how convenient it was as regards parking and access to Chester. We liked the Smeg appliances and the Christmas tree was a nice touch. Negative: There was plenty of drawer space but I missed having a wardrobe so we tended to live out of the suitcase. We'd like to came again but next time, I'll bring some coathangers so dresses and suits can be hung in the hallway - not too convenient when getting dressed, though I appreciate that it would be difficult to find space for a wardrobe on the mezzanine. My husband is usually quick with remotes and such but it took him a while to get the hang of the television. We use iplayer a lot but this did not seem to be available and the sort of films offered on Netflix were not to our taste.
