Country Charm Cottage w/ Free Parking

Disappointed that the price did not actually include two beds as advertised. Positive: Nice property visually and had great heating, good amenities and great breakfast options. Negative: It’s really disappointing because most of the facilities in the property were great. However, we specifically rented this place due to it stating two beds (including a sofa bed). No where on the advertisement did it say you needed to pay an extra £20 in order to use the sofa bed, only after booking the non-refundable booking were you were sent a guide, that we didn’t check until the day when we were checking in, that advised we would need to spend the extra money to use the sofa bed. Extremely disappointing as I was travelling with a friend, and as two grown adults sharing a small double bed was not ideal and or the type of trip we wanted. The response we got about this from the hosts was also completely unacceptable. After pointing out that the extra charge was no where to be seen before booking a non-refundable booking, they said we had a valid point and they would change the advertisement on booking.com (which they still haven’t done). However I would have expected them to allow us to use the sofa bed free of charge since it was false advertising which they did not do. They also forgot to fill up the body wash in the shower.

Lovely stay in a beautiful City Positive: Very clean and homely Negative: Everything was fine, but as I suffer with vertigo I found the bed over the lounge a little off putting

Lovely cottage Positive: Excellent location - an easy 15 min stroll into Chester town centre, 10 min drive to Chester Zoo and handy for North Wales Llandudno/ Conwy etc. The cottage was very comfortable and homely and the kitchen was very well stocked re equipment pots and pans etc. It was nice to receive a plentiful supply of tea and coffee ! Negative: I would have preferred a blind at the bathroom window

Positive: Magnifique petit cottage anglais. La décoration est soignée et le cottage est très bien équipé. Possibilité de rejoindre le centre-ville de Chester à pied.

Positive: The cottage was really nice, nice area. Negative: The sofa in the lounge. We booked for three, we get one double bed ( nice and comfy) and a broken sofa bed which couldn’t be extended. Other than that, everything was just fine.
