Country Charm Cottage w/ Free Parking

Few days away Positive: Parking for one car was good. Within walking distance of centre of Chester. Accommodation was well equipped and clean. Negative: Nothing

Comfy, Cozy, Clean. The perfect stay near the centre of Chester. Positive: The cottage was exceptionally cozy which was exactly what we were looking for. The bed and sofas were comfy, and the room temeptatures were easy to control. Everywhere was clean, and the hosts were great and provided quick replies when required. There was an allocated parking space clearly sign posted adjacent to the cottage which was key for our stay. The location was also perfect; a quick walk to the centre of Chester was about 15 minutes... ideal for the Christmas markets. Negative: The breakfast was a little dissapointing in terms of variety and quantity. Apart from a selection of cereals and some unlabelled coffee pods, there were only 4 croissants and a few cereal bars to share between 2 of us over 3 mornings. It would've been nice to have a bit more selection... for example some pain au chocolat as well.

Fabulous accommodation and location.

Positive: Location. Homely. Negative: It was fine for 2, but would be a bit tight for 4.

Positive: Great location. Nicely decorated and presented. Kitchen had lots of useful items. Bed was very comfortable. Always nice to find somewhere where dogs are welcome. Would definitely stay again. Negative: Lots of positives but there were a few things that could be improved. Although the cottage was clean overall, the high touch areas were very dirty and would benefit from a proper clean. The breakfast was not as displayed in the images, and what was included wouldn’t have been enough to cover the full stay. The tv was only of use if watching a select few channels such as Netflix or Amazon Prime - no other apps could be installed to watch other channels. Walls are thin, so noise from neighbours (even detached) can be heard.
